Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled, strategic media planner and buyer to source and purchase a variety of advertising space for our clients. You will be required to analyze and interpret market analytics, determine the optimal medium and placement for advertising campaigns, and negotiate and procure the desired advertising space and media placements. You would be working with B2B and B2C clients in a wide-variety of industries locally, regionally, nationally, and internationally.

To ensure success as a media planner and buyer, you should be a team player, highly detail-oriented, possess a good understanding of marketing principles, and have experience interpreting analytics. A top-notch candidate should be a strategic thinker, highly-persuasive and have the ability to secure advertising space that ensures the maximum ROI as it pertains to campaign goals.

• Conduct market research and analyze demographics, media usage, psychographic profiles, and buying patterns to define the target audience and campaign requirements.
• Develop advertising strategies and media campaigns with marketing teams to most effectively reach the desired audience.
• Source and present audience data and advertising proposals to clients for feedback.
• Coordinate and oversee strategy, development and launch of targeted campaigns.
• Negotiate with advertising sales representatives to ensure the most cost-effective media buys.
• Prepare and manage budgets and monitor campaign costs and ROI metrics.
• Track and present campaign data such as views, click-through rates, engagements, and customer conversion rates.
• Work with digital servers, dashboards and trading desks.
• Create and present media plans and campaign flowcharts to current and potential clients.
• Build and maintain a network of advertising media vendors and networks.
• Monitor audience and media trends, practices, and new technologies.
• Be a student of up-and-coming media strategies.

Skills & Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in advertising, marketing, communications, or related field.
• Minimum of three years of experience as a media planner or buyer.
• Experience working with programs like Scarborough, Media Audit, MRI, Simmons, Nielson online, Nielsen ratings, SQAD and Freewheel (formerly Strata).
• A good understanding of media analytics tools such as Nielsen, Comscore, and Google Analytics.
• Strong computer skills with programs such as MS Office, Google Suite, and Facebook Business Manager.
• Experience in a variety of advertising mediums including print, broadcast, outdoor, paid social media and digital.
• Excellent financial skills and the ability to manage large budgets.
• The ability to collaborate with others and work as part of a collaborative team.
• Exceptional organizational and project management skills.
• Strong communication and networking abilities.
• Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills.
• Advertising agency experience a plus.
• Google certification a plus.

AdPro is looking to hire an SEM specialist to help manage Google Ad accounts as well as a variety of other digital marketing channels. This position will require a minimum of 2 years of experience working with Google Ads and knowledge of Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager. • Oversee the management of 15-20 Google Ad accounts
• Daily management of monthly budgets and monitoring of campaign pacing
• Optimize copy and landing pages for search engine marketing
• Perform ongoing keyword discovery, expansion, and optimization

• Perform bid management and optimization on all campaigns
• Work with the development team to ensure SEM best practices are properly implemented on newly developed code
• Work with editorial and marketing teams to drive SEM content creation and programming

• Analyze trend in the automotive, healthcare and other industries and bring fresh ideas and implement fresh ideas into campaigns

Skills & Requirements:
• Four-year degree at accredited college in marketing, advertising, technology, or related field
• Minimum of 2 years of experience managing Google Ads accounts; current Google certifications preferred
• Experience working with Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics; experience with Facebook Ads, Google Data Studio, Facebook Ads, and YouTube a plus, but not required
• Solid understanding of digital marketing data trends and SEM KPIs and the tradeoffs associated with each
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Must be detail-oriented
• Strong listening skills with the ability to accept criticism professionally
